Fixing Office Authentication issues
If you are constantly being bombarded by login requests for Microsoft Office applications, or you experience prompts in any of your Office applications saying that office is not properly authenticated and "features will be turned off on X Date" follow the instructions below to resolve:
- Close any other Microsoft Office applications that you have open, with the goal of only having Outlook open.
- Click on the "File" Tab on the top left of the Outlook window
- Click on the "Office Account" tab on the lowe left side of the Outlook window
- you should now see a portion of the Window contain your User Information, like the screen shot below
- Click on the "Sign Out" button that is highlighted above
- Once that is done you must now close Outlook and re open it
- Once you re open Outlook you should see a screen like the one below, click on the "Sign in" button
- Enter your sheridan-provided email and password when prompted and you will be signed in again.
this should resolve any authentication issues!
